Prince Moritz (1521 - 1553) was the founder of oldest lane Dresden’s in 1550. Till 1849 be called "Newe" respectively "Große Fischergasse" (big fisherman lane). Owing a new coin her name is "Münzgasse" (coin lane).

The ground plan Dresden’s from 1849 recorded 13 houses. Three of them were pubs. The "Münzgasse" (coin lane) was destroyed in 1945. Hermann Kohlmann`s drawing show the extent of this disaster. On his picture you can see the coin lane in 1945 immediate after destruction. Below Brühl Terrace piled up the stones. You can’t saw nothing from the popular subject. Only Ruins sent a reminder in direction sky.
